Diagnostic efficacy of physical examination and radiological findings in palpable breast masses

Aim: Clinical breast examination (CBE) is important in the early diagnosis of cancer, especially low- and middleincome countries. Tru-cut biopsy (TCB) most used method for pathological patients with mass.
 This study aimed to evaluate advantages diagnostic accuracy TCB decision based on CBE presenting
 a Material Methods: In this prospective cohort study, data who admitted our outpatient breast
 clinic between September 2020 March 2021 were evaluated. The presenting complaints, family history, hormone
 replacement treatment, mass size, contour, mobility, radiological findings, BI-RADS classification, pathological
 recorded. Two hundred- two underwent were
 included study.
 Results: presence irregular fixed was mainly observed malignant group compared benign
 (67.1% vs 43.9%, P: 0.001; 75.9% 39%, P< 0.001, respectively). regression analysis, age significantly
 associated malignancy (OR: 1.12, CI %95: 1.06-1.18). showed 85.5% consistency benign pathology,
 88.5% malignancy, 90.2% granulomatous Conclusion: advanced postmenopausal condition irregularly, physical
 should be considered at high risk cancer. performed by experienced surgeons lowmiddle-income countries reached reducing long time cost caused radiology.
